Games and activities

With indoor and outdoor space we have plenty of opportunities to chill out and be active; UNO cards, lego, board games, films, reading books, playing sports, treasure hunts, forest school and nature trails. Every afternoon will include an arts and crafts activity and a cooking/baking station where children will work together to make the end product (anything from masks and necklaces to brownies and fruit salads!).

Our wellbeing circle...
During our wellbeing circle we collectively discuss ways to keep our mind and body healthy as well as looking after each other. At Rounders we talk about how to manage our feelings, practice and learn effective techniques to better our wellbeing such as; mindful activities, talking about our thoughts, eating well, daily exercise, drinking plenty of water and much more!

Rounders encourages children to share what works well for them to express their thoughts and feelings.

Sports coaching

Football, rounders, multi-sports sessions, ball games, dance, yoga, parachute games, relay races, badminton, skipping and obstacles.

Arts and crafts

Craft workshops, including mask making, graffiti art, jewellery making, rock painting, glass painting and deco-patch projects.

Baking [and tasting]

Including salads, pastas, pizzas, fruit kebabs, flapjacks, biscuits and plenty more!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Parents of children who require special dietary or medical attention must include all relevant medical/dietary information when completing the registration form and ensure children bring any relevant medical items with them, labelled appropriately with the child's name.

Many activities will take place outdoors so children will need to come dressed in suitable clothing for the weather. It's also important children come with a water bottle, and all other personal belongings clearly labelled.

Breakfast and snack will be provided, as well as water and fruit throughout the day. Please send your child with a packed lunch (strictly no nuts policy).

On arrival, please drop your child off at the club entrance, the leader will sign your child in. On collection, please ring the bell and wait at the entrance - a member of staff will sign your child out.
